One day in Barcelona

Last Saturday, David and I went to Barcelona to celebrate our first year together. Yay!

The weather was terrible: It rained all day, but we didn’t mind too much, since we had planned some very cool activities.

This is the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, a complex of fountains, cascades and pools. The best time to visit it is at night, when the fountains can produce infinite light-and-water combinations. It’s truly an emblem of Barcelona.

After we got to Montjuïc, we went to the fair BioCultura in Palau Sant Jordi, an indoor sporting arena and multi-purpose installation.

One of my students had given me two invitation tickets for the fair, so we took advantage of it.

I’m new to all this ecological products thing, but I really enjoyed the experience.

In BioCultura you could find from food to cosmetics, fashion and healthy home products.

In the afternoon, we went to the theatre to see a play by Lloll Bertran, a well-known Catalan comedian that I like since I was a child, when I used to see her on TV.

Despite the heavy rain, Saturday was an amazing day for us.

Happy 1st anniversary to you and me, my love!

What did you do last weekend?
