Spring is here and good vibes have come with it. At this time of the year, I love to wake up with cheerful music that elevates the mood.

That’s why I’ve created this music playlist with spring songs that will accompany me aaaall the season.

BUT, I need your help! Yes, because I want to create, not only an ordinary spring playlist, but The Ultimate Spring Playlist for 2019!

So all I ask is that you mention your favourite spring song in the comments section below. The songs with more upvotes will be added to this list along with a link to your blog!

The best songs will be also added to my Spring 2019 playlist on Amazon Prime Music. Start your 30-Day Free Trial and enjoy zillions of songs and Free 2-day shipping.

Let’s create the best spring playlist all together!

The Ultimate Spring List 2019

R.E.M. – Shiny Happy People

R.E.M. has been one of my favourite bands for more than a decade. Every time I hear this song, I feel like jumping and dancing, and I instantly get in a good mood. It invites to spread happiness and love around you: “Put it in the ground where the flowers grow.”

Rozalén – Girasoles

Rozalén is a Spanish singer-songwriter, as well as a social activist. This joyful song, Girasoles (English: “Sunflowers”), is a tribute to all good people, to “those who always water their roots.”

Amy Macdonald – This Is The Life

When This Is The Life first came out, I was still very young — actually, I’m the same age as Amy Macdonald, who was 20 by the time she released her debut album. All I cared about then was being with my friends and going out partying. So, for me, this song evokes the spirit of youth and freedom.

Justin Timberlake – Can’t Stop The Feeling!

I don’t know what Justin Timberlake has, but he certainly has something. I’ve always liked him, especially after I saw him in the film Friends with Benefits with Mila Kunis. He transmits positive energy to me!

Txarango – Una Lluna a l’Aigua

Txarango is the Catalan band of the moment. Last year, I saw them in concert in my town, Vilanova i la Geltrú, and it was so crowded you couldn’t barely breathe! Una Lluna a l’Aigua (English: “A Moon in the Water”) is one of their best-known songs.

The Cure – Friday I’m in Love

Aww, this brings me such good memories… The first time I watched this video I flipped out. I don’t know if it was the looks of these guys or the song itself, but I suddenly became a fan of New Wave and Gothic Rock. One of my fave bands ever.

Rosario – Muchas Flores

Muchas Flores (English: “A Lot of Flowers”) is the most popular song by Spanish flamenco-pop singer Rosario, whose surname is also Flores. This song became a hymn here in Spain and it’s very likely to appear in any party playlist.

The Beatles – Here Comes the Sun

“Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter.” Yes, I think we all feel the same way, George.

Sixpence None The Richer – Kiss Me

I find this song so sweet. It was the main theme of the teen rom-com She’s All That, which I saw at the cinema with my friends at the tender age of 13.

Shakira – Me Enamoré

Me Enamoré (English: “I Fell In Love”) tells the story of when Shakira fell in love with Gerard Piqué, her current partner, father of her children, and centre-back player for Barcelona.

Queen – I Want To Break Free

Queen, one of my favourite bands of all time. Every time I clean my apartment, I play this song and sing it out loud. I don’t know what my neighbour might think of me, but it’s super fun!

Álvaro Soler – La Cintura

This Catalan-German artist rose to fame with his song El Mismo Sol (English: “The Same Sun”) featuring Jennifer Lopez. La Cintura is his 2018 single.

Bob Marley – Three Little Birds

Of course, the legendary Bob Marley and his good vibes could not be missing from this list! “Don’t worry… About a thing. Every little thing… Is gonna be alright.” You da man!
